Meet Gertner’s Kitchen
After being diagnosed with Celiac disease and IBS at age 15, I was told the only way to heal myself would be from life-long medication. Naturally, not covered by insurance and completely out of the middle-class monthly affordability, plan b it was.
The irregular, painful bowel movements, a skin rash that no doctor could seem to diagnose, and the fear of what would happen after I ate anything, I knew this was not the way of living. It was up to me to make a change.
I enjoyed long walks through the grocery store isles, learning about the design of the grocery store and how each ingredient was able to provide nutrients for the body. After perfecting my homemade tomato sauce recipe and the aha moment of learning what foods allowed me to have regular bowel movements, I learned the perfect recipe to heal my gut. It was nature's best medicine, food.
After graduating with a degree in Hospitality Management from Colorado State University, I began teaching culinary classes and cooking for cannabis pairing dinners. With my healthy obsession for cooking and working with local farmers, I became a full-time intuitive Personal chef and Culinary coach. I work with busy individuals who want to eat well but don't have the time to cook or grocery shop, females who are looking to balance their hormones through the food they eat, and those looking to host beautiful dinners but don't want the stress of cooking or cleaning, I have you covered!
This dog mom, Squatty Potty advocate, works with all of your gut health needs.
